Current Position
Chief Deputy, Bedford County Sheriff’s Office (2019-Present)
- Current Chief Deputy to Sheriff Austin Swing for 6 years
- Supervises approximately 120 deputies, corrections officers, and civilian support staff
- Oversees budget preparation, policy development, and personnel decisions
- Implemented comprehensive jail improvements, raising training standards, and increasing staffing efficiency
- Achieved Tennessee Tier 1 Accreditation—only the 23rd county out of 95 to reach this status
- Developed innovative rehabilitation programs with a remarkable 4% recidivism rate
MAJOR (2015-2019)
- Supervised approximately 55 deputies and civilian staff across multiple divisions
- Managed Patrol Division, SRO Division, Judicial Services Division, and Administrative Division
